Dropbox: The End of FolderShare.

The day has finally come, after years of searching, for FolderShare to finally be put to rest and be replaced with a new and improved system. The new program is called Dropbox, and it already set up and ready to go, you just need me to guide you through setting it up to make sure no one gets confused. I assure you, this update is well worth it. Dropbox is very similar to FolderShare but has some great advantages. In fact, here is why you will love it:

• WAAAAY faster downloads. You download from a computer server, not from other peoples uploads. This mean everyone gets the files at the same time, and at a speed capable of maxing out your download.

• Only upload your files once, when you add new files they are uploaded to the server, then you are done. No need to upload to each person which slowed down your internet.

• You can download all files from the website, to any computer with internet. You can even upload files to it from any computer as well. At your friends and like a song? Upload it to GEAN or yourself from your friends house with just the website.

• Doesn't really slow your computer down at all, the only time is when you are uploading, but now you only upload once, so you can leave the program open forever with no worries, even during Halo Tom.

• If you update file, it doesn't resend the entire huge file. It only sends the changed part of it. It's that easy.

FolderShare shall remain on for some time untill everyone has switched over, but I would like people to switch as soon as possible. Trust me, this is a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY AWESOME program! I was lucky to talk to the people who are making it and got an invitation to their beta, so we all get a free 5GB of storage space for GEAN, which once out of beta will only be a free 1GB, but since we will all be beta testers, we get to keep the free 5GB!
